Yeah I saw enough so far. The game comes out in a few days and I'm good.

See those blue things at 2:17? Those are Chargin' Chucks.
Yep. They're finally back.

2:22 has a good shot of them. It's in the part where Mario is in the gravity flipping tunnel. Yeah, I know they don't look like Chucks, but that's what people who ahve the game are calling them.

Yeah, I don't buy it. Chucks hop in one place, then after you stomp 'em, they start chasing you. Alternately, they huck crap at you before they start chasin'. Either way, that wa'n't no Chuck.

Yeah, they don't look much like Chargin' Chucks either. They're the wrong colour, shape and... err... everything! If it ain't wearing American Football gear, it ain't no Chargin' Chuck.

Note: Elements from later part of the game ahead. (spoiler) from (spoiler) series makes a cameo here. I think the always-sleeping yellow Toad's puns are kinda... well, let's say it suits the Toad Brigade. Prankster comet version of the above galaxy complete with another pun.

Complete with an extremely dymanic remix of a song from a previous game. Might count as in series, might not.

Oh man, I'm psyched to get to the Throwback Galaxy. I looooove the SM64 Main Theme remix - just as catchy as the original!
If I'd been given the choice, I'd have preferred a Dire Dire Docks or Jolly Roger Bay level, but c'mon ;D It's Whomp's Fortress!
PUEH! [/whomp]

Someone on another site said a fairly good reason why it's not Jolly Roger Bay or Dire Dire Docks or such levels in the Throwback Galaxy, and that's because such levels would require invisible walls, which aren't used in the Super Mario Galaxy game engine. Personally though, I'd have preferred if the later Ricco Harbour secret level inspired area was based on the outside part with the docks and Gooper Blooper instead.

If there are cameos (or even throwbacks), create a new Super Mario Galaxy 2 topic in the cameos forum and start spoileriffic posting of anything you find there. I may then avoid that topic until the game comes out here, but I doubt it

Invisible walls shouldn't even factor into it, though I suppose he has a valid point. There are all sorts of levels that just sort of drop off into oblivion, and even more to point, there are levels that are penned in by too-high terrain that's built out to the sides or whatever. Just replace the cannons in the game with launch stars (they do that in the Throwback Galaxy), and you're good to go.
Not that I'm complaining. ;D I love Whomp's Fortress.

Does anybody else here (in America currently) have this game yet?
I got it right on Sunday and so far in the time I had it, I've gotten those 120 stars, and now I'm on the.......
SPOILERS, maybe?
...Green Star hunt.
I've cleared Worlds 1-4 on it, and now I'm getting them on World 5.
Other than that, yep, good game so far. 8/10, really.
