Got it. I've got 5 stars. It's fun. Also, those things are totally not Chargin' Chucks.

Does anybody else here (in America currently) have this game yet? I got it on Sunday too, but I've been pacing myself. 50-ish stars and still on World 5...I plan on beating the final boss as soon as possible in order to play as Luigi.

Spoiler reply ---> I think to freely switch between the bros you need 120 stars?
I've got SMG2 today at Japanese launch. The price is a bit steep, but it sounds alright for me to buy one of the best games made at that price.
Didn't have a huge amount of time to enjoy the game. I'm at 3 stars, 2 medals, 159 coins and 437 Star Bits.
I did manage to play the game smoothly without much problem. And I think the attached DVD is too slow-paced. Only a small portion of it is of interest if you're a mildly good player.

The PAL and Japanese versions of Galaxy 2 come with a tutorial DVD. Because they apparently suck at games or something. Link.

Slight spoilers: It is possible to get 105 stars before the final boss for a total of 106 at the end of the game. Yeah, there is a World S.

I've heard that you just have to beat the final boss, but I could be wrong. Attached DVD? The DVD was explained by Adam. Video that proves your spoiler point (and thus disproved mine): www.youtube.com/watch?v=c9ZTpshSyhM

Spoiler reply to TEi: It is get 120 stars, but you don't need to beat Bowser.Au contrere, mon frere! Turns out that beating the final Bowser was all it took. I did it with somewhere around 75 stars, and now there is a Luigi door on the Faceship that I can access whenever I please. <3

Huh. I didn't notice it till after 100%. But then again, I had like 96% when I beat the final boss anyways, so it didn't take long.

A friend of mine and I have determined that the Spirit Guide appearing is not dependent on how many times you've died; rather, it appears based on your life count. So if you're stuck in a really troublesome area that has a ton of 1-Ups around that you keep picking up, the Spirit Guide won't appear. XD
