WOW. Just wow.
I'm loving that long-dragon, so beautiful in motion. And yoshi's tongue to solve puzzles is ace, looks well implemented!
Also, wow at all the 2D stuff, that looks uber-fun! Especially that 3d cylinder that has a 2D camera angle!
Still can't believe we'll be playing this bad boy in may!

This looks gorgeous. Yoshi looks much more involved than his Sunshine appearance, and looks like an integral part of the fun, too. And there's some awesome stuff going on here with the levels. Man, excellent news. May isn't too far off!

The gameplay and graphics are wonderful. The Mario feel is there and shining, how wonderful. My only complaint is the apparent lack of story will detract the combination of youth and maturity I felt in Galaxy.
But holy shoot trailer was epic. Yoshi will be used so much!

Using Yoshi looks pretty fun.
There seems to be a galaxy with giant enemies in the trailer.

It seems Yoshi will have a much bigger role in this game compared to Sunshine and NSMBWii. That's all good. Anyone else think the dragon seems to be straight from Yoshi's Story? I wonder if we can play as Luigi again and maybe even Toad in this game...? I would have liked to see the Koopalings in this game, though, they are way more interesting than Bowser Jr.

I too noticed the dragon from Yoshi's Story.
This looks to much multiples better than Galaxy, which was already awesome.

Hmm... is it me or did Yoshi just use his tongue to latch onto things like he did with the red balls in Yoshi's Story in that video?

That giant dragon is certainly very Marioesque, although I'm not sure it's supposed to be the same as the friendly Yoshi's Story dragon (who knows though, right? It is the same team, after all!)
It's looking good, but is that linear level progression I see? No more hub world? Hmm... Intriguing!

I remember keeping myself completely spoiler-free when it came to the first SMG; I saw the demo Nintendo ran when they first announced it and then maybe two screenshots of Buoy Base...believe me, it was soooooo worth it. So this time I'm doing the same thing; I haven't seen anything since last year's E3 (I think?), so the closer we get to release, the less frequently I'll visit this topic ;D

Where were the piantas? And where does it indicate linear progression? I'm curious

Piantas: Linear progression: Going back and viewing the trailer and gameplay videos, holy shit I'm speechless! This is sure to have a lot in store for us! And it seems they're struggling to deviate from more of the same. And it appears that Yoshi's color corresponds to what abilities (done by eating certain fruits?) are being used. Light-blue sees Yoshi blowing up into a balloon to lift into the air, red has Yoshi sprinting across certain areas. Now what could be in it for yellow or even other colors? More Yoshi usage in this should certainly make up for where New SMB Wii failed.
