Ok, either I'm missing something or he looks exactly the same as he always does. The living Master Sword sounds interesting, though.

I can see how that would be the living incarnation of the Master Sword. Intriguing stuff.

I miss the days were every new Zelda history arch featured a new design for Link...its seems now we are stuck with WW link for young Link games, and TP for old Link games

I like TP's art style, so I don't mind using it again. Art looks pretty nice, and the "human" form of the Master Sword angle is cool, too. Look forward to more info.

While the TWW style does seem fixed, I wouldn't say that Adult Link's look is stuck the way it is. If this game is a follow up to Twilight Princess, then it seems it will just be following the tradition of keeping the same visual look as its predecessor.

He's holding his shield in his left hand.
Let the whining begin.

At least this guy's right-handed. Unlike someone who's got his game MIRRORED just because of that.
Can you have something like "game options" to adjust that?

I'm fine with the whole 'Living Master Sword' thing, as long as it doesn't start talking like the sword in Sonic and the Black Knight.
Man, that is sword annoying!

AUUUUGHHH..." Link will become the sword. With a shield included as seen in the artwork. Maybe that explains somehow why is he holding it with his right hand, because everything becomes the opposite

I suppose they will do the whole "the player is the sword" idea to explain why the game could potentially be first person (Miyamoto tossed the idea out there; does nobody remember that?).
My friend told me (this is before I saw the image that I'm typing this, mind you) that Link appears more OoT than TP. Anybody else get that vibe?
EDIT: OoT thing... not so much. But the sword is basically WW's Fairy Queen. Very interesting...

Hm. I still don't see why he can't be left handed on the Wii. I don't think holding the sword with a different hand will change anything.
At least Toon Link will stay a lefty.

For everyone bitching about handedness: Use the power of your imagination! And that's all I got to say there. So far as Zelda Wii goes, I really only want two things: 1// A different gameplay conception. I don't think the Ocarina of Time style is bad, but it's eleven years old by this point and it's time to move onward and upward/ 2// Make Zelda (the character) useful. I made a huegliekwoah rant about this yesterday on Wildcat's blog, but I'm tired of Zelda being a Damsel in Distress and Plot Device. Which isn't to say I want the atmosphere of the game to change...just that, a light-hearted, foul-mouthed, action-loving Zelda would be a welcome change as opposed to the submissive, demure, dull, cliche stereotype for which the series is so named. Cooperative gaming is the way of the future, so playing a co-op Zelda game where Zelda herself is one playable characters - now that would be a step in an innovative direction for Nintendo ;D
