Well, at least it wasn't changed to "The Concluding Chronicles."

Euro limited edition bonuses have been announced for The Concluding Chronicles Last Story. Including: - A copy of the game (obviously) -SteelBook cover decorated with beautiful artwork - a 7 track CD - and artbook (which can fit into a sleave with the CD case). bigger picture images.eurogamer.net/2011/articles//a/1/4/3/7/9/1/4/Last_Story_Limited_Edition__Small.JPG.jpg There's even a short video for this on the Euro siteAnd the game will still retain it's online co-op (boss fights) and Deathmatch VS modes for the Euro release (which can be used to earn rare weapons for the single player campaign). I'm also noticed that TLS has appeared on the Oceania Nintendo Channel, but has still not appeared on Nintendo Australia's website.

I really do hope the turnout for this in Europe is as good as Xenoblade's was...I am DYING to play this, but I can't afford importing it right now.

Hironobu Sakaguchi is in France promoting the game, here's an interview with some footage (with english voices) after 1:10 www.bamarenlive.com/2012/01/exclu-hironobu-sakaguchi.htmlWith the game release under a month away, why the fuck is there no actual trailer with the dubbed voices in it already?

Wow, that was quick . . .
First english trailer.
The trailer seemed kind of average though . . .

Not sure if this can really be read into, but if you go to the official North American site for Xenoblade, and mouse over the Iwata Asks image at the bottom, it shows this. EDIT: This might be mistakenly referring to a separate Iwata Asks on Nintendo's UK site with Tetsuya Takahashi and Hironobu Sakaguchi. Kind of a strange mistake to make, tho.

I have to admit, I only preordered the TLS yesterday (Euro limited edition version)
Why? Well I was hoping that Nintendo Australia would offer the same deal or something like it (Eg: first print run of Xenoblade AU came with a 13 track music CD) And at the time there didn't appear for me to be any way to get the Euro Limited Edition with fancy red Classic Controller Pro.
(In a interesting twist of irony month's later there are online stores that will sell this version to me)
I could go in to more detail about this "retailing" stuff but I'm really starting to think this game may be in a worse situation than Xenoblade, hardly any promation (only 1 edited Japanese trailer and now this week's trailer) not many english previews, unless the "hype train" picks up soon I really don't see this game selling that much.
Summary: I'm thinking that Nintendo has low expectations for this game compared to Xenoblade.

Thought this was a funny comment Sakaguchi made after his BAFTA presentation: My daughter said to me: "Lost Odyssey, Final Fantasy, The Last Story — why do all your games have the same name?", so my next game will definitely be called something different. Confirmed! Sakaguchi's next game is "Something Different TM"! (Platform not yet announced.) In other news, Operation Rainfall is planning another assault mass contact day on Friday, February 24, and is asking everyone to post comments at Nintendo of America's Facebook page, send them Tweets @nintendoamerica, email them at nintendo@noa.nintendo.com, and call their customer service line to ask for The Last Story in North America. Don't know if I recommend actually calling them by phone. TheSpeedGamers tried that a few years ago for the Mother/Earthbound series, and all they accomplished was to make one poor phone rep really angry.
