The official North American release date for The Last Story has just been announced. It'll be available on August 14, and if it's pre-ordered from Amazon, GameStop or EB Games, it will come with a seven-track music CD. All first-print copies will also come with the art book and custom packaging. ( Source) Still got mine pre-ordered! (Wish I could get back to finishing Xenoblade.  ) |

Just tried the multiplayer death match for the first time, and it was surprisingly fun (even tho I mostly got destroyed)! It was also surprisingly easy to find other people to play with. I've heard some claims that hardly anyone plays multiplayer. Maybe it's because it's the weekend, but I hooked up with three other people within seconds, and at most we had a full six-player match going. We mostly played team matches, which seemed to work best with 4+ people.

EDIT: Oh, yeah. I forgot to mention that there was absolutely no lag, which is really impressive for the Wii.

Well, how about that? The Last Story is XSEED's most successful game ever! ( Source) As such, the game is getting a second printing and will be sold for only $29, but won't include the extra stuff from the first edition. Remaining copies of the first edition will also be discounted to $39. Excellent news! Now, if only they'd pick up Pandora's Tower, but I fear it's all too late for that. |
