Then you're underestimating the insane popularity of Hello Kitty. The fact they have plenty of specific Hello Kitty stores even out here in the West speaks volumes. No I don't think SF fans will run to the stores to buy Chun-li kitties, but Hello Kitty fans/collectors will. But they'd buy them anyway. You could smear a Hello Kitty in dogshit and they'd rush to buy it. Most of them won't even know what Street Fighter is. My sister is one of them. She recently spent £10 each on three Hello Kitty dolls that were identical expect for the colour of the dress she was wearing. They'll pay for "karate bandana Kitty", and come away still having no idea who Ryu is. It occured to me, though, that Capcom probably aren't actually sinking any money into this deal. I expect it's all being paid for by the Hello Kitty people with Capcom just licensing out the IP and getting a cut of the profits. So it's win-win for them, I guess. I still can't get my head around the idea that Mega Man and Phoenix Wright are now not worth making, though. Especially with those new Mega Man comic books doing as well as they are. You'd think a company as money-grubbing as Capcom are lately would want to cash in on that.

Hello Kitty characters posing as Street Fighter characters? That sounds pretty silly and cute... but why not? I cannot help but feel that I should probably wait for Ultimate Marvel vs. Capcom 3: Arcade Edition instead of getting Ultimate Marvel vs. Capcom 3, just in case. I mean, they did that with Street Fighter IV, you know? And I think it is coming to the 3DS in the near future.

I can't imagine they'd release a disc-only third version of MvC3, especially after the dual DLC/disc-based release of Arcade Edition. But to be fair, I also couldn't imagine a second MvC3 happening this soon, so it could really go either way. (Also Arcade Edition sucks a big meaty chode, so I wouldn't worry about an MvC3-3 too much.)

It was to be expected, but hurling evidence to the other guy's face as a long range attack is hilarious

The papercuts alone...
But this video makes me grin like an idiot every time I watch it. Also, can anybody understand what Phoenix says after schooling Doctor Doom?
Further to point, I love how this set of character reveals is basically "PHOENIX WRIGHT PHOENIX WRIGHT PHOENIX WRIGHT PHOENIX WRIGHT PHOENIX WRIGHT oh and Nova too, whatever."

That is an epic finale with Doctor Doom!
As for what's he's saying... It's really hard to hear with Maya goofing around in the background but I'm pretty sure it's: "In battle it's not a question of guilty or not guilty"

Here's some more gameplay footage, in case you haven't gotten enough Phoenix Wright.

Well, now that we have seen all 12 newcomers in Ultimate Marvel vs. Capcom 3, have anyone here reconsidered getting the game or not? If I have a PS3, I would get this right away!

*Yawn* Its time again, Capcom does their usual non-surprising but disappointing thing... From Fighters Generation: " Someone from Gamestop leaked this image, claiming that their computers have a new listing for "Ultimate MVC3X" with the headline: "Expand the ultimate experience. 8 new challengers join the fight!" Reports claim that it will launch July 3rd as UMC3 DLC for $15, with a disc version coming July 24th for $40." Of course its only a rumor at the moment and the poster looks like it can be fake plus it doesn't have the Capcom or Marvel logo but yeah...

Didn't they say UMvC3 was the last expansion they were bringing out? I know it's Capcom we're talking, but I'm not believing it
I'm still more inclined to buy another expansion like this though than SFxT, which already has the extra crap on disc but forces you to cough up even more dough to unlock it. Atleast full games end up in the budget bin

I doubt it's real. There was already enough of an outrage the first time around and capcom seems to have forgotten this game already anyhow

It's a hoax. Christian Svensson, Seth Killian and Ryota Niitsuma have all categorically denied a UMvC3 expansion.
