Mr. Molecule arrived and posted a crapton of topics that wound people up by being mostly pointless. He has messaged saying he's off again and can I lock all of the threads he created  I don't think it's everyone and everything. I think it's one old forum member who turned up after a long absence, hit the forums with everything their brain pooped out, and then left. It's been a hell of a lot worse. |

And of course, there are bound to be petty squabbles (like that one I just had with Koopaul) by the simple nature of being human. When something crops up that messes with status quo, like Mr. Molecule, it LOOKS like the mega-poo has hit the fan, but really it's just the same old drivel, but magnified.

@ DiU: Other than Mr. Molecule's Post/Threads... what other post/threads/topics/etc do you think have gone off the deep end recently? I haven't noticed any, to say the truth.
It's pretty much been typical Cameo talk, Nester's "Guess the Game" Game (yay, redundancy), Metroid: Other M news and conversations, and random fan talk like the Moveset Factory (but not so much as Mr. Molecule's topics).
Even though I don't post as much as others, I do read what has been up in the site recently, and try to make a post, as long as it can add to the conversation.

Something that's always bothered me hear is that some members are always deeming certain discussions as idiotic and pointless. Who's to judge whether or not a topic is worth discussing? Personally I felt that Ghost Pokemon thing was worth discussing.
It seems very rude to say "who cares" in the middle of discussion. What if I said looking for Cameos was pointless? Who cares about cameos in video games?
Now I'm sure that would upset many people who love looking for them and even dedicate a section of the site towards it.
What about that "Zelda Notes" topic? Is that retarded too?

A two page debate on ghost Pokemon, where its revealed at the end that both people actually think the same thing, is retarded. There can be no debate on it.
Then theres posts where people seem to get a rod up their arse over nothing. POSTING IN CAPITALS TO MAKE THEIR POINT. Or quoting their own posts again because they think nobody read their original post (pro tip: they did, they just didn't care, because you're stupid and your post was stupid)
Also TEi complained in another thread (the Scott Pilgrim one I think) that he didn't want to say too much of his opinion because people were gonna bitch about it or something. And I like TEi's posts. They're better than the posts of the majority of people that would likely bitch about it.
In conclusion, wah wah is true, but you're all stupid. Except the people I like. But you other ones are really stupid.
