I was not fighting to help anyone's case but my own. In fact, quick lesson in Shrikeswind: I never do. Sometimes my case is the same case as someone else's. Then, by the nature of my case being the same case as someone else's, I will be helping that person's case. But this is not the case. In case you wish to know, your case and my case were seperate cases entirely.

I haven't been singling you out, which seems to be what you're implying. If I've been "retaliating" in your direction a lot, that simply means you've said things I've disagreed with a lot.

I've not even going to go into the last few words of your post there, suffice to say that pot really needs to keep its mouth shut on that front, as kettle is getting seriously tired of it.

Yes, I recognize everyone's pissed at me. That's kinda why I'm arguing. I try apologizing to a member, someone else gets pissed at my apology. I explain my own apology, someone else decides to get pissed at how I explain it, even though it's an accurate statement. Hell, I (at least think) I came to an agreement with someone, shit stirs up with someone else. I AM being singled out for no reason. Yes, it does date back to me if you pull the line long enough. But I've attempted to attone and got nothing but bile out of it all. So if my needless bickering is causing such a hooplah, I'll stop the bickering. But not without resolving the issue, preferably peacefully. I can do that. I've done it before. But only with cooperation from the other party.

tl;dr? Cut me some fucking slack. I'm trying to be good again, but you people are making it harder than it needs to be.

Okay, green italics are up because I'm having a moment of clarity which may be fleeting, and would like it to be known that it's the case. I would like to apologize for my recent behavior. Unfortunately, too much stress and too little sleep are de rigeur for the modern age. I am often on edge, but these forums are somewhere I come to escape the stresses of life. I come here in my leisure time (and occasionally on company time, but they don't need to know that). And I come here to talk about junk with people, many of whom I have known a lot longer than many of my real-life friends.

So when someone comes into this group and upsets the balance, I will swing the hammer to protect this community.

But your apology is accepted, and I hope to see some more productive and less conflict driven posts from you in the future. I'm sorry I had to whip out the big guns with my last post, but you're not the only one under pressure and sleep-deprived, and this topic pretty much drove me mad

Just lock it, there's no real reason to keep it running - old wounds or no (and for me at least it's a no,) it's been 7 years. The horse is dead, Jim. If anyone does have any grievances from a 7-year-old fight, they can take it to PM's - reading back over, it looks like that was kinda my philosophy on this thread even back then. And while I'm a bit offended to be compared to neo-Nazis and child pornographers, even at my worst, it's more hurt than angry - and again, it's my opinion that PM's are the place for that sort of chat.
