^ That seems...horribly complicated

It should be a throwable item then? Or usable in air. Good point. Used in the air makes more sense, since flyswatters are supposed to be grasped.

I certainly like the Cucoo idea, but Darmanitan sounds like it should be the Cucoo. When you attack or throw the Cucoo enough it should swarm around.

I am loving some of these ideas. The Cucco assist is awesome, and I'd love to see the Kirby Mike in action! Ganondorf and Captain Falcon rockin' out! ;D

T-Rex Vivosaur (Fossil Fighters and it's upcoming sequel) (Yes, that is the T-Rex on the box). When this AT is used, bones of a skull, pair of arms, pair of legs and tail sections will drop into the relevant area. The bones can be picked up and thrown at other players but if left for 5 seconds of being left in close promixty to one another. Roaring to life the mightly flaming red T-Rex is born again! Now it will roam the stage attacking the other players via biting and head butting moves, if not other players are not close by it will spit fireballs at them. Then finally it will perform a running charge attack (that deals quite a bit of damage) that can be easily doaged and will most likely send it falling off the stage. I think the only problem with the AT, may be that it could be confused for a Pokemon.

The Cucco is an item in Super Smash Flash and it totally could work in the real game. You just pick it up to get your slow fall and slightly better jumping (slight). It runs around otherwise and just soaks up hits. After so many, it summons the FLOCK and you're all screwed...

I had an idea that you could probably have one of the keys from Super Mario Bros. 2 as an item. When you pick up the key, you use both hands and Phanto chases after the holder, but when you throw it at someone it deals a lot of damage. It would be easy to run around with, but you wouldn't be able to double jump.

All right, I got one new item idea. Super Leaf from Super Mario Bros. 3, Super Mario 3D Land, and Mario Kart 7. A character who picks up the Super Leaf will gain raccoon ears and tail. They also gain the ability to fall slowly by wagging their tail (repeatedly tap the jump button in midair) in addition to making the nearby opponent trip by spinning the tail around (tap the A button). As for characters who already have animal ears and tails like Fox and Pikachu... well, simply replace their normal ears and tails with raccoon ears and tails. Now, picture how cute and silly some characters would look like with raccoon ears and tails.

I laughed up, it's like Bunny Hood meets Parasol. But since Mario's spamming now tanooki tails in recent games, why not. (-lul-)

Cannoid Samurai (Eco Shooter: Plant 530)A samurai like figure that it made out of tin cans possesed by aliens known as the Cannoids. Slowly walks around the stage attacking people, but can easily attacked to push it away, where cans will be dropped where it was hit. After 20 seconds, a targeting reticle will appear on screen to shoot at the leftover cans and the CS damaging whoever is nearby.

Whoa! Talk about obscure! I never heard of Eco Shooter till now! But this Assist Trophy sounds fun the way you described him. The video helps, too... gotta love visual aids.

Rundas (Metroid Prime 3: Courrption) VISUAL AID! VISUAL AID! Rundas appears and begins flying around the stage creating large ice path trail behind him, this "ice trail" serves as an obsticle and can block off portions of the stage (if it's on the ground it's slippery), chunks of the trail can be attacked to make gaps in them. Near the end Rundas heads towards the middle, and fires off a few ice missles that can freeze players solid. An alternative (if more accurate Rundas, and possible simpler to implement) would be to have Rundas to appear, fire indirect ice attacks that freeze portions/platforms of the stage and then fire ice missles to freeze players and cause larger ice "mounds" to appear on the stage if they miss players. In summary the basis of Rundas is "terrian change (making slippery ice terrian) or terrian denial/blocking (ice boulders) and immobilsation of players (by freezing) Also Rundas's theme is supposedly a remix of everyone's favourite Metroid Prime song Phendrana Drifts

One Assist Trophy idea I've had for the past couple months now... I would love to see the Wandering Heroes from that StreetPass game, Find Mii. It would be funny to see cats, dogs, and rabbits wielding swords and charging into the battle field.
