While I got bored with the first DS entry (and thanks to Nintendo never got to play the second) This one its turning pretty interesting, Hope they bring it over here, Also, While I personally prefer the art style of the GBA games, I had grown to like this one to (Unlike the DS that art was boring to me, I know they hired a famous manga artist, but still didst grow into me)

They really wanted that Fire Emblem crossover, huh?
But this is pretty cool, actually looking forward to playing the DLC map now

New DLC has been announced. One featuring our boy Roy, and the other stars Leaf from Thracia 776. There are also new Spotpass puzzles available, and Fire Emblem is one of them. I don't have it,but others have confirmed it.

So after 11 years since SSBM, we finally get a Fire Emblem game with Marth and Roy in it (and possibly Ike?)

Ike is in it, he appears in Marth's DLC chapter as an NPC. No doubt he'll be coming soon as a proper playable character though.
Also of note, the artist for Roy is Kimihiko Fujisaka, the character artist for The Last Story, and the artist for Leaf is Sachiko Wada, the character artist for Fire Emblem: The Sacred Stones.

That's not the Roy I rememeber!
Roy and Leaf, huh... two of the more powerless (Roy moreso) Lords in FE history... But I'm guessing they'll be broken in FE13 anyway.
And Leon, do you have any confirmation of the FE13 puzzle in the NA version of the 3DS? It showing up in Japanese and European systems don't mean that much to me.
(I'm still inclined to get a Japanese 3DS though. Maybe even today, I dunno.)

Different artists for different characters? Huh
That's a pretty hardcore lookin' Roy. Too bad he traded his fancy blue armor for all that gloomy stuff

At the moment, I cannot confirm it, but the message did say new puzzles were available, so imagine that someone must be getting Fire Emblem.

Well, it doesn't matter now. I've bought myself a second 3DS.
From what I've heard, the FE13 puzzles will be Japan-only.
And I'll be posting comments about this game soon. But here's my first comment:
The price I paid for the Japanese 3DS, Fire Emblem 13 and 1000 yen of eShop credits are less than what I paid for the NA 3DS. 10 VC titles aren't going to justify the difference!

The Fire Emblem puzzle, has data in the U.S. streetpass plaza, but it has a message which states that it is not available "yet". That gives me a huge sign for a localization announcement at E3.

Well, I also assume that the Japanese 3DS was as pricey as the NA 3DS when it was released as well. There was a massive price drop for both regions.

@leon I'm hoping to see this game getting locaized in NA even though I already have the JP one. I'm somewhat positive that this will happen, although I still got the JP one because localization of FE typically takes half a year, and I'm going to bet that some of the DLCs would get killed (Leaf? Leaf who?).
@teev The Japanese 3DS was expensive - even more expensive, actually (250 US dollars = 20000 yen, versus 25000 yen for the Japanese version). Demand for Japanese games is more fierece here (and for the same reason I'm having: people want a 3DS that can play Japan-only games), and then there's the fact that our currency is hooked to the US dollar and the whole "appreciation of yen" thing has never got to go away.

Here is a summary of the new DLC chapters, courtesy of Serenes Forest.
Another Story: Spirit Talisman 2 (26th April 2012~) Krom visits the Other-world again, this time chasing a mysterious female who's stolen magical talismans from the old fortune-teller. The mysterious female uses the talismans to summon forth ancient heroes and thus Krom is forced into another battle...
Another Story: King versus King (Emblem Episode) (26th April 2012~) Hero King Marth--the kind King of Archanea. Celice the Earl of Light--the noble King of Jugdral. These two kings continue their battles in the Other-world and Krom decides to lend a hand to Marth to defeat Celice's army.
I like how Marth and Celice are at war with each other. No rationale for it, but it's fun seeing these titans clash like this.

Localization announcement = Me saving up for a 3DS. Seriously. I love Fire Emblem, and this one looks stellar.
