^ LOL. In all seriousness though, she's over-obsessed with her brother (same for Ephraim with her), but marriage between siblings who are aware they're siblings would be something even Fire Emblem 4 would not touch (well, there's the incest bug that allows Celice and Yuria... and maybe it's an intended "bug"). This particular Eirika disturbs me a bit because she's not going to use swords at all (and she's not exactly feminine in FE8 anyway). I suspect the bride class is going to use staves (as the illustration suggests) and bows (as a screenshot included suggests), and I'm going to guess lances as well (to compliment the Demon Fighter class). Paid DLCs have been coming out a bit too slow now, I'd say. I can't wait to see something that's worthy for me to buy. (And thanks for keeping me so hyped about this game even though it's been 6 weeks after its release, IntSys. The non-paid downloadables are pretty great too, so check those out too if you have this game.)

Once again, DLC artwork that differs from the original. Here's Celica, available from the next week onwards. She comes with the second part of the Light versus Dark series of DLC chapters, where you persumably have to team up with the anti-heroes from the first part of Light versus Dark to defeat the heroes of light. Because the otherworld is such a weird place. On the free SpotPass side, we're now up to getting 4 out of 6 hidden characters. The Sword Saint Renha is playable.

And Cellica joins her lover Alm as DLC. To get Cellica, you have to join forces with Camus and the Dark Army, and defeat the forces of light. Art is by Saito Masatsugu, I don't know what else she has drawn.

New DLC! Red versus Blue finally has its decisive battle chapter out, and this time you get: - Lyn, drawn by Shirou Miwa, who did the illustration for 7th Dragon 2020- The Iote Shield, which should be well known to FE fans as the item that negates effectiveness towards flying units

The art style is pretty neat, but I don't feel it fits Fire Emblem. The design is pretty cool though, it makes Lyn look badass, and I always thought she was a dull character.

She's at least better than Celice.
There are discussions on Serenes Forest that now that they're running out of DLCs (all the 3-part DLC groups are filled, except one), who will be the final DLC reward. Most say Ike.

Hm. I really like Lyn's original design, and this one isn't bad, but it seems a little off somehow. It's faithful to her original colors and look, but I guess I'm not big on the artist's style.

- The Iote Shield, which should be well known to FE fans as the item that negates effectiveness towards flying units Wait a minute, does this mean there's no Iote Shield in the actual story mode itself? But I love my indestructable pegasus commandos!

Yes, there's no way to protect flying units from bow and wind users.
Should I also mention that the Iote Shield is now a skill, which means it'll take up a skill slot (one unit can have up to 5 skills equipped).

Man, what's with Lyn's tiny feet? Did she have them binded or something?

As expected, the Light vs Dark subseries has come to a conclusion. This is possibly the final DLC to the game. Ikey-poo's so underwhelming. Guess the artist's having a tight deadline or somehting. This DLC also comes with an item Limit Break Scroll that extends a unit's stat caps by 10, thus turning anyone with the skill an unbeatable monster to anyone else not having the skill. So it really is pay to win, after all - just not for winning the main story (but seriously, making your own StreetPass team unbeatable is kinda meaningless). Also, for those interested in FE13 but don't follow FE13 news, the SpotPass chapters are all broadcasted (although some other SpotPass elements are not available yet), thus answering the question that FE13 fans have been having all the time - who that final hidden character is (I'm not revealing that info here; look for it yourself if interested).
