It's a little too bad that these characters from the past games don't have their own character models. They just have vaguely similar hairstyles and colour schemes assigned to them. Come on! There's a 2~32GB SD/SDHC card installed in each player's 3DS! Use it and don't be afraid of making players download whole 3D models!

New DLC characters! Alm is redesigned and finally puts the hair colour debate to rest. Alm also comes as a new class, Demon Figher, a class that only appeared in Fire Emblem Gaiden previously. Drawn by HACCAN, who did art for the DS game, Avalon Code. Micaiah, drawn by Rco Wada. She is someone I can't find much information on, and it seems she hasn't done any previous games.

Next week only features one DLC character, this time it's Queen Elincia from Path of Radiance and Radiant Dawn! Art work by Shiki Douji, the artist for the Full Metal Panic! light novel.

The stage is the same place as where you fought Nergal. You get to join a Roy vs Ike battle in this chapter.
...So does that mean the week after we'll see... otherworldly Eliwood? Or Lilina?
...In other news, we have new SpotPass contents too. FE1 characters and a new map is available.
I unlocked the map, but like some gaiden chapters, it's outside of my reach (I'm at Chapter 15 now). Ouch...

Next week, Ephraim joins the cast of DLC characters. This now gives each continent one DLC character, with Tellius leading the pack with two. Ephraim's artist is Yamada Koutarou, the artist for Fire Emblem: Hasha no Tsurugi. Another chapter will also be available, this one features Anna asking Krom and his party to annihlate a group of monsters.

New DLC! www.nintendo.co.jp/3ds/afej/dlc/dlc_0524.htmlKing versus King (Decisive Battle) Marth and Celice now join forces to fight Krom. Defeat both armies to win Celice, Earl of Light, and the Paragon skill (double experience). Infinite Divine Weapons Also available next week is an infinite supply (you can play the DLC chapters repeatedly) of divine weapons in the Infinite Devine Weapons ( Mugen no Shinki) chapter. As the screenshots suggest, you have to fight 36 powerful warlords. Winning will get you (in addition to the divine weapons) the Silver Card (buy weapons/staves/items in shops at half price). EDIT - IMHO, perhaps this infinite weapon chapter won't make the game incredibly easy like the last infinite money and experience levels. It seems that to get through this chapter, you have to be at the endgame levels. This does make it easy to build crazy StreetPass teams that are way too powerful, but it's kinda beyond the point of this game if you do so. Making teams like this won't help the other team get anything, and they'll just dismiss your team.

Rika Suzuki, she did the art for the Sacred Stones novel in Japan.

Ah, thank ye. That's a nice cover, too. May have to look for a larger one.

Is there a schedule for releases? Obviously actually getting the DLC doesn't matter for me but I do want to see what zany redesign they have in mind next. It's really been hit or miss for me, but I love what they did with Ephraim, Alm and Leif and want to see what they'll do for some of the other characters.

Ephraim? Very cool... I should give Fire Emblem 8 another spin.

I finally fell prey to Nintendo's scheme (?) and got the Infinite Divine Weapons DLC. 300 yen for a single map may be too expensive, but it's fun regardless. Just make sure you know what you're buying before you do it (there are many online game guides to help you) and you'll be fine.

Eirika joins the fray! Eirika comes next week, and she has her own exclusive "Bride" class with her. The artist is Daisuke Izuka, he previously did the art for FE12.

Eirika!? Is she getting married? Maybe to Seth? Fire Emblem 8 isn't going to finish itself. Better get on my 3DS.
