One of the leakers has composed a summary of the story. The story is still slightly inaccurate; look at the GameFAQs conversation for a more complete picture.
Basically speaking,
- the part that says Ridley, Chorus Men, Dixie Kong and Mewtwo is to be considered untrustable now
- forget about Mach Rider et al; that was proven fake long ago
- no info if these are all of the characters, and they can't say for sure if characters said to be cut are really cut
Now this is interesting. Melee had its full roster out weeks prior, and in Brawl's case, months (because it was delayed, and judging from Sakurai's tone, it's probably a bug-related issue). With Smash 3DS? We'll see in a few days. If it turns out that the leak's roster isn't a full one, I'd be delighted. It'll the first Smash to have successfully guarded part of its roster's secret despite all the publicity it gets, playable demo and all.
