Interesting that, AFAIK, the new course parts aren't from any previous Mario games. I wonder, though, if the Fire Clown Car is inspired by the shooter stages in Super Mario Land.
Also, the Bookmark site that lets you search for and save courses from your web browser is coming December 22. That should be really handy for playing courses I find online without having to write down those long course codes.

I think the Fire Clown Car is inspired by how people make shooting levels with the Fire Flower item. It's painful to see those levels having Mario always shoots downwards.
The bumper reminds me of those Yoshi's Island DS challenges.
I don't think I'll like the bookmark feature. Why isn't it avilable in the game itself?

Yeah, I think seeing a tweet from Fry about using it to recreate the shooter levels in SML must've put that idea in my head. Otherwise, I couldn't really think of what it had to do with Super Mario. (The bumpers made me think of Sonic, tho.)

The one that leaked today is another weird one. Even more so because it's the second time that forgotten power up has been referenced this year.
Theory going around is its for an event course that uses the Fire Clown Car, which adds credence to the idea that the FCC is intended for SHMUPS levels.

Possibly this Mystery Mushroom that got found by a hacker.Also if people really want to recreate the SML shooter levels, their probably going to be disappointed by the fact there's only two of them in SML.

Yay! Daisy is finally in Super Mario Maker!
E. Gadd would be nice. I also would like to play as Toadette, Toadsworth, Nabbit, Sprixie Princess, Baby Mario, Kamek, Undo Dog, Mary O., Viruses, Larry, Morton, Wendy, Iggy, Roy, Lemmy, Ludwig, Bob-omb Buddy, King Boo, and Petey Piranha.
