I imagine at the very least Roy and Corrin will have costumes, I also saw Hashimoto talking about Bayo in SMM a while ago, so imagine the odds are good for her.

They added some real classic characters to SMM with the update, love that Ayumi Tachibana and Hikari are getting some love.

Mary O has a costume, according to the JP site.
I pretty much stopped caring about costumes in general, since unlocking the basic costumes is too much work. 16 incredibly difficult levlls to unlock one costume!? Ugh.

Now to wait for Miiverse to be flooded by people whining about more anime characters in SMM.

I really, really hate the new Pink Coin update. Not only can you not set how many Pink Coins you need for a key, they also don't work with checkpoints. I've spent ages working on a stage, only to have to delete it, because the checkpoint screws me over when trying to upload it. I pretty much stopped caring about costumes in general, since unlocking the basic costumes is too much work. 16 incredibly difficult levlls to unlock one costume!? Ugh. Expert has gotten a lot easier since Super Expert came out.

Expert has gotten a lot easier since Super Expert came out. Yeah, good thing they added another level of difficulty, because while playing on Expert prior to the update, occasionally you'd come across some really neat levels, but having to do 15 other levels, which were generally just fusterclucks or troll levels (I'd always skip a level with even one door leading to an unavoidable death, those levels are cancer to good level design), was too much of a hassle. Also reducing the amount of stages needed to be passed down to six on the final difficulty was a good touch. Still wish you could share a level to a friend without having to use a computer. I've definitely come across some really neat levels I would have loved to share with my bro.

I really, really hate the new Pink Coin update. Not only can you not set how many Pink Coins you need for a key Yeah you can? In the upper right corner. You can't put ten coins in the level, put five of them in the main level to unlock a door, and have the other five in the sub-level to unlock another door. Anyway, I've made some more levels, if anyone's interested... F98C-0000-01D7-3D58 - Just a minute... 4A37-0000-01E0-6553 - Big Mario takes to the sky 1DA8-0000-01E9-DED9 - Nintendo Quiz (Turn comments on) BF1E-0000-01F2-2187 - Going the wrong way D2CB-0000-0215-637C - Spike Pillar Castle Please don't forget to star if you liked any of them.

Them were some pretty good levels, though I still have some gripes with that last one. I'll try finishing it later. As for myself, I've only really tweaked both my levels and made one new one. If anyone's interested:
Scouting the Sky Armada: 2860-0000-01A2-E64D Ruined Arcanaeum: D3F2-0000-01CE-0D7E Tanooki Gold Mine: 8171-0000-01CF-AB3E
I also want to share some stages I found either really interesting or really fun:
~アカヘビ~akahebi: EFCA-0000-01C-BF69 Really great use of the editor, definitely haven't thought of uses like this Mansion Escape: 9358-0000-0097-20C1 Been meaning to make a stage like this one, maybe with a Zelda Dunegon theme Power-Up Puzzle Palace: BD32-0000-0067-CA07 Another one of those stages that feel like an overworld, but with puzzles

Sure is unexpected to see him here. I thought we'd lost him forever, what with no new game since 2008.
...What, are these things becoming the new Smash Bros. now?

I do wonder why he was added now, I know LS3 is releasing on VC this week, but is that really why?

Sure is unexpected to see him here. I thought we'd lost him forever, what with no new game since 2008. ...What, are these things becoming the new Smash Bros. now? It's great to see him back and all of the first three Game Boy Advance titles are now on Japanese Wii U Virtual Console. Densetsu no Stafy - July 29, 2015 Densetsu no Stafy 2 - March 26, 2016 Densetsu no Stafy 3 - April 6, 2016 Starfy's appearance may have been a promotion for the recent Densetsu no Stafy 2 Virtual Console release and it seems interesting that Densetsu no Stafy 3 was released so shortly after. I'd personally love to see Nintendo release the fifth game (The Legendary Starfy) that was only released in Japan, North America and Oceania for Europe via Wii U VC if they can, and re-release it in North America, Oceania. I feel that would be a great way for Nintendo to breath life back into the series outside of Japan, and the activity, as well as the positive Starfy reception has suddenly given me a lot more hope that Nintendo may release a new game. The diversity of Costume Marios is interesting and I personally love it, with characters like Barbara the Bat, Chibi-Robo, Donbe, Hikari, Mallo, the unique Super Mario Maker mascots and popular media costumes not originating from video games (per se).

Speaking of characters originating outside video games... I really would love to see Captain N, Princess Lana, Duke, and Game Boy... and of course video game characters like Simon Belmont, King Hippo, Eggplant Wizard, and even Mother Brain (because why not?).
