Munchlax is the pre-evolved form of Snorlax. It slowly walks around. It’s extremely carefree, but it’s said to be the glutton of the Pokémon...An item appeared!Don’t eat that!I guess Munchlax is a bit of an item hog. Any item it gets, it eats! It’s kind of hard to tell it to stop, though.

That second screenshot looks like SSBB will not include Lip as a playable character nor an Assist Trophy. However, remember the Screw Attack item?

With the Lip's Stick item being shown, I would think Lip's chances of being a playable fighter in SSBB have now gone down. It is also good to see a Pokemon from the 4th generation confirmed to be in after that sighting of that Drifloon Pokemon on the Pokemon Stadium 2 stage. EDIT Sorry Parrothead that post was not up when I did this. Also you do have a good point there about the Screw Attack item. He comes out of the Poke Ball and then turns around and eats it.

And I was worried that this guy might replace the Puff. Good to see I was wrong.

With the Lip's Stick item being shown, I would think Lip's chances of being a playable fighter in SSBB have now gone down. However, Ness has the home run bat in both SSB64 and SSBM, and it's been a spawning item in both games. The one Ness has is just slightly different. There are many items that are similar to moves other characters have. Also, remember the Screw Attack item? EDIT: Oops. I didn't see your post being modified, Da robot.

Well, that's one returning item and one funky new 'Mon! Great idea. I wonder if he runs after items, and if he hangs around on the stage for longer.
And if he eats a Poke Ball, does that make him a MURDERER!

This was a great update for my girlfriend - she loves Munchlax. It's a pretty cool idea, but I'm sure this will teach me to hate the poor little thing.

The internet is just freaking out about Lip right now.
It's too much to even keep up with...
...but to be honest... I think we can safely rule her out now... no?

...but to be honest... I think we can safely rule her out now... no? Not really... I mean, I don't really think she'll be in, but... The Home-Run Bat didn't discount Ness from being in, and the Screw Attack didn't discount Samus... I don't see why Lip's Stick should discount her.

I never thought Lip would be a playable character. Although nothing stopping her being an assist. Why can't she appear and summon Garbage Blocks or something?

I know it doesn't matter much, but...
The Pokemon graphics are pretty bad. I know they're just simple characters and are only on screen for a short while... but the pokemon updates are some of the worst graphically.
The worst though is groudon. He looks like something out the N64 and it matters in his case because he's so massive. I only say this because Brawl looks like a very graphically impressive game and the visuals have improved all around... except for the pokemon... who look no better than they did on the gamecube (I'm not counting Pokemon trainer... those 3 look awesome) But that makes me wonder.... perhaps their unimpressive looking because there will be SO many of them! Maybe even over 100!
