The FF13 thing was hilarious. I laughed so hard.
The avatar thing seems a little pathetic. With FF13, they actually did something relevant and helped them/hurt the competition. Avatars are more like "LOL, we can be Wii too". They've been trying this since E3 2007 with little success.

The FFXIII news is gigantic. That made my day. I may own a PS2, but it's certainly not because I love Sony. If the games go elsewhere, I tend to get them there. I had a good-sized laugh over this.
Nice to see Rare following through with Banjo-Kazooie's original design plan. May be a bunch of years too late, though.

Of course, now I have to buy a 360. For Banjo and now an opportunity to play 13. Wasn't going to buy a PS3 just for that.

Ok dude, you don't have to swear dodge every single time, we all get the Idea.

Ok dude, you don't have to swear dodge every single time, we all get the Idea. Oh pashaw! Desperate times call for desperate measures. Microsoft is pissing me off by rubbing in my face "You don't have an Xbox, therefore you don't get enhanced Banjo-Kazooie." Therefore, the f-word is necessary in that situation. Though, I could've explained that before. Fuckdamn shitfags!

Am I the only one who's noticed the parallels between Square and Rare? Both were console exclusive for a long, long time. Both jumped out of bed with one company and into with their up and coming rival at a point where the old rival wasn't very important anymore (SEGA and Sony). Both caused massive divides in fandom. As far as I know, these are the only two cases of anything like this.

LOVE the new X-Box interface, nice setup and now I can watch movies with distant friends.
Avatars looks BETTER than Mii's. Screw any comments that Nintendo did it first, this looks more entertaining and more open. I'm not loyal to "I did it first!" if it's fair like this.
Banjo-Kazooie news makes me so happy. Stop n Swop after ten years of waiting. I wanted to play BK again after my rental of it ten years back, now I'll get to. If I get a 360.
Then it was. WHAT THE HELL?! YES! FFXIII!
That, MGS4, and Ratchet&Clank were my main reasons for a PS3 over a 360. Now all these new options for a 360, BK1 and BK3 (AND S&S!!!), and FINAL FANTASY THIRTEEN?! I'm getting a 360 this holiday season. Hands down. I can't wait for FFXIII. And a 360. Now to figure out how I'm going to play MGS4...

Banjo was an N64 exclusive, therefore it would be logical for it to appear on the Wii. Of course, logics don't apply well with Rare...

They've tried to get it on the VC, though. It's Nintendo who won't let them put it on the VC. Rare's answered this question numerous times on their site and whatnot.

Some quite interesting reveals from MS, looks like that whole motion control rumor involving BK:N&B isn't true. Is there any footage of this MS camera in action though? It's interesting to point out that Bill Gates mentioned he wanted a visual control system like that in an interview a few years ago where you could "swing your hand like a tennis racket and have it happen in the game" and the people interviewing him then mentioned "that already exists it's called the Wii." BG then got slightly annoyed and explained some more on that he wanted a camera system and not a controller. They've tried to get it on the VC, though. Didn't Nintendo say the only way that would happen would be for them to both appear on VC and XBLA? Maybe Nintendo and MS/Rare finally made an agreement on that whole money/royalties issue?

It's all brands and labeling. He's just raking in a percentage of profit from Xbox's being sold. And, yeah. That motion control technology has already been introduced by Sony. It's called the Eye Toy (as someone above mentioned).

Maybe Nintendo and MS/Rare finally made an agreement on that whole money/royalties issue? I dunno. I know one of the reasons they haven't put anything Rare up is so Microsoft couldn't profit off of it. It would therefore make sense to put it up after it's already on XBA since it wouldn't be giving unearned attention to Microsoft. I hope that makes sense...
