I wonder if we'll see any of that stuff at Leipzig this year? I just gotta hope that Nintendo was using E3 for its casual crowd, and are planning on using another show for the hardcore guys. Leipzig GC starts on 20th August. If its just more of the same, then either we're in for a long wait for the "good stuff", or we may have to stop waiting

Oh, then the next one...TGS? I know that Nintendo doesn't usually attend TGS, but remember it was the place they chose to unveil the Wii Remote back in 2005.
TGS starts on October 9th.
Am I just deluding myself here?

Am I just deluding myself here? Probably. (odd Nintendo isn't going to Leipzig) Nintendo might have their own press event this year. But I think they really have nothing else this year.

You guys are forgetting E for All, which is ALSO in October. You guys do remember what Nintendo gave us for October of last year for E for All? Any of this ringing a bell?

You can't announce a game in October and have it release in November (which it will need to for the holiday season).
They have to reveal something in the next month or so or you can count out the rest of the year.

Nintendo's Fall Conference was like a week before E for All.

Nintendo's Fall Conference was like a week before E for All. But it was still the conference. No one showed anything new at E for All.

Awesome read, thanks for that. I could sense some tension in that conversation...

Very true. I expect anything we see will probably be for early 09.

I guess you don't get more blunt than that. This'll probably be the first Holiday season where there's no big Nintendo November title for me to get despite me saving money for Christmas. This is definitely the chance for 3rd Parties to show off what they've got. I'd like to say this is a rare opportunity for them, but we really don't know how rare this will be.

Choice cuts... AHEM! AHEM! etc. EDITSUPER AHEM!!! *raises hand* You mean, the same ideas as when you first announced the Wii remote?!?!?!Err... is it? I'll be honest... I kinda want Cooking Navi more I've started doing a lot of fancy cooking, and I've given up having sex with hookers and then killing them for my money back. Strangely... I'm still in that core gamer audience. Woah... she's got a bit of a complex about that. Come on! I'm a really good judge of character. She might be a genuinely smiley and nice person, but what she was doing on stage was still "faking it". Maybe we'll see a Cammie Dunaway simulator on the Wii someday...
