It's funny that even Mariokart 64's race results jingle is superior to any tune from it's sequels. It doesn't matter how much time passes, I can't get MK:DD's title theme out of my head. It's like the Dr. Mario theme... Damn it! Now I'll have that stuck in my head all day. Damn you Nintendo!!

I've always been partial to the menu theme from MK64. Especially that one part with the piano chord.

Mario Kart 64 has the best music in the series in my opinion. It may be that it's the first one I played extensively, but it has left an impact on me. Love the Credits theme, Koopa Beach, Rainbow Road, and the Title/Menu themes.

Those aren't mysteries, they're just a part of the game!
I can't tell if you're just trolling these forums, or if you seriously think you're being interesting and helpful but not "getting it"...
You've broken several forum rules, sent me an angry PM because I insisted you read the website before submitting cameos, and now you're posting basic parts of 25 year old games as easter eggs that everyone has known about since 1986... Hell, some of that info was in the instruction manual!
I don't want to ban you from the forums unfairly if you really are trying, but if you carry on like this I will assume you're trolling and you will be banned.

In a recent Iwata Asks interview for The Legend of Zelda: Ocarina of Time 3D, Takizawa and Iwata confirm that the way a Star Fox Arwing in Star Fox 64 moves is exactly the same as Volvagia's movements in The Legend of Zelda: Ocarina of Time, which may explain why the unused Arwing enemy exists within the game code. iwataasks.nintendo.com/interviews/#/3ds/zelda-ocarina-of-time/2/2

It sounds like he's saying the movements are the same as an enemy in Star Fox, not the Arwing. He says it's the movement from a "fighter aircraft" that tails the Arwing in one scene. But I can't think of any long enemies that tail you in that game.
EDIT: Unless he's just saying that he applied the programming for the ship tailing you to each part of Volvagia's body to make them tail each other. That'd make sense. There are a few enemies that tail you throughout the game, and they follow along behind you the same way Volvagia's segments follow its head.

Isn't E. Gadd a caricature of a Nintendo employee? His Japanese defiantly is.

So Pinkle is a Link cameo?

I wasn't sold on the Pinkle thing either... I think that article went a bit... over-imaginative.

Yeah, LA had a whole bunch of cool stuff like that. I'd definitely go with Wart and Richard (was that his name?) in LA or Donkey Kong in Punch-Out Wii over those Bullet Bill and bizarre Pinkle ones.
