I just realized something. With the camera capabilities of the 3DS, Gameboy camera games might not lose all functionality. Not that there was many,

^ Speaking of which, I still hope the Game Boy Printer functionality can be emulated by exporting images to the SD card. It has been done with some Virtual Console titles on the Wii after all.

I wonder if Link's Awakening will remain intact?

Why wouldn't it? It's coming to the 3DS VC, after all.
Man, who out of us would have thought the Game Boy Camera and Printer had a shot at living again?

Holy crap, just been thinking about the staggering amount of Nintendo published VC (or VH?) GB, GBC, GBA titles that could come to the service that would be good to buy.
Yeah, I know I'm hyping this up, but dammit, there's are lot of good handheld titles that have a high potential for release.
Mole Mania! Kid Icarus: MaM, Metroid:RoS/F/ZM, SML 2, Wario Land series, TLoZ: LA DX/OoS/OoA, Golden Sun 1&2, Mario Golf/Tennis, Mole Mania! Super Mario Advance series? Kirby 1/2/pinball/many more?, Advance Wars 1/2, M&L:SS, Mole Mania! Drill Dozer, Pokemon?
And then there are possible titles like Kirby tilt n tumble/WarioWare: Twisted/Yoshi's Gravitation that could work with the gyro sensor of the 3DS
Possibly Japanese imports like X, Rhythm Tengoku and even Mother 3?
And now going to third party . . . Shantae (and other Wayforward titles) and . . . well that all I can think of for now.

I'd be very surprised if X didn't come to us via the VC. It's an easy import title. The Kirby's Dreamland and Pinball Land games are easy choices too, as are the Wario Land games, SML2, and Return of Samus. The Oracle Games are a good possiblity as well. And Shantae will def. be released if they open up Third Party games- WayForward seems intent on marketing Shantae a lot.
I'm not sure if games past the Color era would be available though. They seem much bigger than the Color and original games.

All right! 3DS supports transfers of DSiWare games from DSi/DSi XL to 3DS according to a Nintendo PDF file . We will also be able to purchase 3DSWare on one 3DS and transfer to another. However, there will apparently be limits on the amount of times that you can transfer games from one platform to another. gonintendo.com/viewstory.php?id=137591And with that all my worries are gone. Well, execpt one, region locking. No details whether 3DS is region locked or not have been released. The only worthy DSiWare games (including two upcoming ones) I want to transfer are Cave Story, Dark Void Zero, Maestro! Green Groove, Mighty Flip Champs!, Little Red Riding Hood's Zombie BBQ, X-Scape and Shantae Risky's Revenge. Here is also a trailer of 3DS games from the conference.

Was that a Frog Suit I saw in Paper Mario?! Weird.
A lot of the games look amazing in the graphical sense. Snake Eater is a standout. Out of the games, I think I'm looking foreword to the new Resident Evil game the most. (Outside of Nintendo games, of course.) Wonder what this game is revealing...

POSSIBLY BAD NEWS.It may be possible that GBA games are not coming to the 3DS VH service. (But the GB and GBC games still are). www.gonintendo.com/viewstory.php?id=137610Some of the games in that trailer look great, the model of Link from OoT reminds me of the one used in SSBM.

A Kirby game in Lemmings sort of style? lol. Nah, seriously, I'am not sure how I feel about controlling multiple Kirbys at once. I hope its wrong but otherwise its not really that much of a huge loss. And GBA games could still eventually be added at a later date.

Really? Really? Nobody, nobody at all, cares that this handheld console will cost the same as the Wii did at launch? Nobody at all? I think that sucks.
Other stuff sounds good though.

Yeah, it does seem rather extravagant at first glance for a handheld system, but given the technology and all that's used for it, it's understandable, if not fairly respectable in the long run.
I think the Wii's initial launch price was $250. This being 50+, thus $300...Well, I'll be damned. Wonder if I'll be able to shell out enough for one when it comes around. Or just hold back for a while and wait for a price drop. In any case, I do look forward to it.
