IT IS DONE!Every cameo submission I have received since 2004, including legacy cameos that were on the site... I have also updated the GameCube, Nintendo DS, Wii and Nintendo 3DS system pages. If you think you submitted a cameo that doesn't appear, there's a small handful of reasons: - You submitted a cameo for a game or operating system that doesn't have a page. Don't worry, these are archived and will be added at some point after E3.
- You submitted it yesterday
- It's not really a cameo, or it's too in-series to count (I have been very lenient with in-series cameos this time, but some were just too much)
- You didn't provide enough information in your submission, and nobody else stepped up to provide any, so it remains unconfirmed. Thankfully, there weren't as many of these as I feared.
ENJOY! And I look forward to the wall of screenshots you'll all want to send in ;D

That's just awesome! Amazing job, can't wait to read through them all! I'll make sure to help out too with some screenshots later.

Do you count returning cameos in remakes? Kirby Super Star Ultra still has the Stone ability transformations in the original. Don't know if you will count the HAL logo cameo as well. Also with Kirby Ultra, if you count the HAL block cameo in Kirby's Adventure, Ultra has it as well. Tell me if you need more info on these. ...More to come! - One of its soundtracks in Fire Emblem 11 is taken from FE9. Having never played the game though, I cannot tell where it takes place. (Track 33 here: Serenes Forest FE11 track listing) - FE12 has the same FE8 music in the same places (arena and training grounds), having reused many of the FE11 things. The FE9 battle music did not return. - In the same manner, FE8 has FE2 and FE4 music (FE8 arena battle = FE2 player phase battle, FE8 areana prepatation = FE4 prologue map theme). (I would view FE cameos to be too in-series, seeing that picking music from previous games, as well as recurring characters like the fourth wall-breaking Anna and the Ike-loving Aimee, are a series-wide tradition) - You mentioned the G-ZERO cameo also in Star Fox Command in X-Scape, but you did not mention G-ZERO in the Star Fox Command page.

Here is not the place for posting changes or new cameos. Please do that in the cameo board.
Also, YL, I sent you a request for more details on the KSS and KSSU HAL room to your private messages a couple days ago, as you mentioned they were there, but never actually said where (at least, you didn't in the cameos board or in an email).

Welp, I feel like I've actually contributed to the site now. =)
Also, I just noticed the icon on the front page for the update is a screenshot I took. Thanks, Fry!

I know it's been on the site since before the update, but I absolutely love how Nester's cameo in NES Play Action Football says, "Submitted by Nester." It's like he submitted his own cameo, which of course is exactly what Nester would do! I hope that's what people think if they see that.

Adapting old cameos (e.g. WarioWare: Twisted) with people's modern forum names was weird. I had to keep checking to make sure I had the right one.
Theq... not to be confused with The Qu. ;D
The Qu... Your contribution has not gone unnoticed. Several members have been meticulous in their cameo hunting over the years, and I feel I have been letting you all down. Hopefully, this goes someway towards making up for that!

Aw, thanks Fry. I was just joking anyways. I've been happy to help with the site. After all, I was looking for Nintendo cameos long before I knew about this site.
Besides, you hadn't let any of us down. I think we all knew anything we contributed would be up eventually- it was just a matter of time. After all, you gotta work when it's convenient for you.

Just wondering, if I did mention the fact that Capsule J in Kirby Super Star has been based on Konami's Twinbee, is it a cameo? Twinbee just was quite hot stuff around kids in that time, so it's no wonder they used him as the base on Jet-ability's helper.

Nope. Only Nintendo cameos.
Although, it IS interesting, considering they changed his look for Superstar Ultra.

I would like to know if it was based on Twinbee, or it was later decided that it looked too much like Twinbee and so they'd better change it.
I've been wondering about this one for a while... Not sure if it's supposed to be a cameo or not...
And The Qu... I'm not sure it was about time. I've nearly abandoned the site a few times, but I keep coming back. I was starting to think I was never going to manage it. I'd still like to know if I'll ever get the Smash Bros. cameos up! ;D

None confirms this, but seeing how popular Twinbee was back in 90's (Twinbee Paradise and such), it might be no wonder. It could've been a tribute to Twinbee, but later Nintendo decided to play safe and change the character design.
Maybe it could be worth of mentioning that, though?

I've made a navigation update, splitting up games and series into two separate lists. The Games section contains alphabetical lists of all games.
There's some more plans for the series section... But I guess it's time to think about E3! ;D

New update today (17th July)I have done a big ol' overhaul of the Nintendo 3DS game pages, including all packaged, downloaded and included software, and then slipped all the cameos in. The pages are also showing off a new style that I've been working on. Why? Because this style makes it easier to cover multi-game miniseries titles (e.g. the DSiWare "Express" games, which have been a problem in the current design). It also forces me to write a short intro. I will be rolling this out, starting with 3DS, Wii and DS, so I shouldn't fall so far behind. Anyway, let me know whatcha think!
