Looks rad. Lotta people seem to dislike it, but I can dig these kind of lifeless, object like Pokemon (Klingklang, Bronzong, you know the deal). They're like ancient golems of sorts, something mysterious about it.
17 days left! I for one hope they DON'T reveal the last forms of the three starters before release. Because I'm too weak to go on a media blackout

It's conceptually stupid to whine about a pair of swords, given that it's a Ghost-type, and ghosts are known to possess stuff. To me, comparing to Magneton or Klinklang is not enough to express what I feel everytime people disagrees with this kind of design.
I'm pretty sure we'll see the final evolved forms just before the release. Officially at least (at the moment, there are already people playing the game and there must be pictures somewhere... So hide under a rock or something).

We actually met Mega Charizard Y weeks ago. Today, Pokémon introduces...  MEGA CHARIZARD X This is the Mega-Evolved form of Charizard that can be triggered when holding a Charizardite X. Its type is now Fire/Dragon, and can still participate in Sky Battles. Its Ability changes to "Tough Claws", which increases the power of contact moves. In a beautiful blend of a classic plot and the next-generation concept of Mega Evolution, Mega Charizard X will appear in the Pokémon Origins animated special.  |

For that matter, I'm not entirely sure why everyone rails against Pokemon that are based on objects. Some of them, like Electrode, were awesome because they were silly and cartoony, and some others, like Bronzong, are awesome because they're mysterious and spooky. The designs are well thought out for both the more spooky ones, and fun for the goofy ones, and it's unfair to say "That Pokemon sucks it's not blah-blah-blah." |

Wow, I really like those designs, especially Mega Gengar (I've never liked Gengar's design at all) and Greninja. Mega Gengar looks like a mix of Gengar and Haunter's designs, plus some more insanity added in.
It's a shame that you can only have one Mega Pokemon per team, some designs are really great. I mean, I'd love to have Mega Aggron on my team (because I love Aggron), but Mega Lucario seems like he'll be helluva monster. Adaptability Close Combat will be a fearful thing.

Why aren't you guys all talking about this game?! I expected an explosion after it was released and I come here to find the last post was made two days before the game was released? It's so good! I've already completed all the post-game missions myself, I was hoping you guys would've all been playing by now but so far Johans has been the only one that popped up :/
For shame. I wanna battle you guys and explore your Friend Safari's!

Because this forum is dead I tell you! DEAAAAAD! Anyway my excuse is that after I noticed the whole game was being leaked I just stopped going to any internet sites/boards to save myself from total spoilage. Then when I got it (pre-)day one I didn't have a whole lotta time to play it thanks to school/work nonsense. One week later and I'm hardly past the first gym, ha! Eventually I stopped giving shit about spoilers so hey guys, I'm back. But yeah, game's great. Sure the 3D overworld leaves something to be desired (everybody walks like they're going 1.5x regular speed, it's weird) and the story seems cornier compared to B/W2 (so far), but I'm loving it. I was going for an all gen6 team for my singleplayer run, but apparently there's not a lot of new monsters. Plus there's way too many awesome mons from gens all over and with the new exp share giving you a shitton of experience I decided to juggle between 12 monsters for the singleplayer. It'll probably be another 3 weeks before I actually beat the game  but you can stomp my underevolved team if you want or check out my horror themed PR movie (hey I worked hard on that!) Also I won't pop up because you never bothered to register my 3DS code! >:T Same for Johans by the way. And kirbychu and Koopaul and... come on dudes! |

Huh. I thought I had all you guys' friend codes, but I've only seen Leon pop up so far. Maybe I entered some of you guys' friend codes wrong, I'll go recheck 'em.
But yes, game is awesome. I haven't posted about it 'cause I've been playing it!

Heh, I kind of expect this to happen, and I've been enthralled by the game. Playing pokemon on the go in 3D really makes me happy for many reasons, and actually having to train your team to higher levels than before is also a treat (I could barely make level 40 in SoulSilver before the Elite 4).
I'll confirm mine in a bit by modifying this post. Glad to see everyone else is also enjoying this game as much as I am.

Huh, I swear I had added everyone at some point. I'll add you as soon as I can. Oh, and I go by my actual name in Pokemon and 3DS.
So, has anyone been trying out the Super Training functionality? I've been going over it with Johans a bit, while I find it a fun and new way to EV train, along with introducing it/lowering the barrier to other players who may have heard of EV training before, I'm concerned with efficiency. Specifically speaking, whether if Super Training will be faster to use.
Or maybe some stat will be tougher to train, the example being low level Special Attack training in Black&White. 30% to find lvl 15 Vanillites wasn't easy on recently hatched pokemon (Or maybe I just didn't noticed a better station).

Just letting you guys know... I already got X & Y on the first day... I just haven't played the games yet. I am busy with school for the time being... but I expect to start playing on December after the semester ends. I am looking forward to playing Pokemon for the first time since Emerald.
