I am a consumer whore for anything with Mario slapped on the title. So yes, I will buy it, play it for 5 minutes, get bored, shelf it and my little cousins will get some use out of it when they come over. Pretty much like the first one.

I've overcome being a whore for spinoff titles that are cheap ways to earn money. And I'm done with Sonic.

They claim there's gonna be new characters added this time. Who do you think they're adding? Hopefully, DK and Diddy!  Although, I expect we'll get generic koopa's and the like.  Anyway, shouldn't this be in the Contempory Nintendo board, seeing as it stars Mario (and related characters)? |

It stars Mario, but it's being made by Sega (though ol' Shigsy is supervising).
I'm hoping they'll add the characters who were found left over in the first one's data. I have a friend who was sorely disappointed at Jet being modelled and then left out entirely, and I always found the lack of DK bizarre.

That's because Nintendo, you know, published F-Zero GX. They're not publishing this game, though (well, except in Japan).

Right, I didn't quite know where to put this. I assume I'm right though. Anyway, for Sonic's team I'd like to see: BIG: Power Type Big is the only new power type character (aside from Omega) that can be in the game. I prefer not to put robots in Olympic events... Seems like cheating. ROUGE: All-Around Because there are no Running Events I assume she has a chance this time SILVER: Speed I wasn't sure to either put Silver or Espio as the new speed character this time. But because Charmy would be the only one left out I felt I better not do anymore damage. CREAM: Technique Only seems right to include Cream. Ice seems to go good with Cream. ;D Mario's team would be: DONKEY KONG: Power I mean c'mon, there's your perfect example of what a power type should be. He was going to be in the game some way they last time. BIRDO: All-Around She/ he was also found in the hack. Better her/ him than some generic Mario enemy. DIDDY KONG: Speed How many other speedy characters exist in Mario games beyond Yoshi? Well if DK is in there, why not Diddy? BOWSER JR: Technique He's been popping up where you expect him. Sports games. The little Bowserling has a nice thing going, give him a chance to compete. |

You've obviously never played a game with Silver in. Speed is by far his worst skill.  He should be a Technique character, for sure. Sonic's new speed character should be Jet. Hands down. He's the only Speed character left aside from Espio and, assuming Vector returns, it'd mean the leaders of both Team Chaotix and the Babylon Rogues are in there. |

Okay I didn't think that one through... I haven't played the game and I forgot that Silver wasn't about Speed.
EDIT: Isn't Vector the leader of Chaotix?
